I am a singing teacher and a qualified school teacher. My degree is in drama, dance and English Cultural studies. I am also an adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Music Festivals.
I taught KS3 English, Music and Drama GCSE and also teaching English as a second language.
I write my own unique poetry and encourage and enable pupils to create their own poetry and lyrics for songs etc.
My approach is to meet the need of the 'whole person'. I work on building a positive relationship with pupils in order for them to enjoy and experience the full joy of expressing themselves through their singing voice. The emphasis is on enjoyment and fun through vocal exploration. Building confidence is a major factor in my teaching method.
