We provide a wide range of activities for children aged 2 – 5 years. We cater for children with SEN and with English as an additional language. We offer a range of indoor and outdoor activities to promote all areas of EYFS.
We are registered with Ofsted and follow the EYFS, covering all aspect of the curriculum. Our aim is for all children to fulfil their potential whilst enjoying themselves without feeling at all pressured to learn.

We are a village pre-school in the heart of the community. We offer a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage to all young children with or without special educational needs and or disabilities. We aim to work closely and to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children. We offer activities such as music, a variety of craft activities, physically challenging activities, a well stocked book corner, role play, small world play, sand and water play and fun and friendship with adults and other children. All our activities are based around play.
We can support children up to statutory school age if required. We do not supply on-going support after the child leaves our setting.
Purpose is day care and education for babies and children 6 weeks to 5 years. Haven 2000 holds "shine a Light" award given by the Communication Trust. Staff are practiced in Makaton signing and supporting children with communication needs. There are two SENCOs who train staff how to make reasonable adjustments for existing and new children with SEN and Disabilities and how to support Families. Each child has an individual plan and a key person. Support is in usual ratios.
We are a playgroup and offer childcare service for children aged 2.5 - 5 years, when they go on to school, term time only. We are in receipt of the government funding for 2 year olds if parents are entitled and 3-4 year old funding.
We follow the children’s lead and plan focused activities based on topics ie: the weather, People who help us, festivals.
We are a day nursery taking children from 6 weeks to school age. We provide transition information to the school that the child will move on to, after taking the permission of parents to do so.
We offer a full EYFS curriculum in all our rooms and we employ an Early Years Teacher 3 days a week. We accept childcare vouchers. We offer fully inclusive activities and continually assess the individual needs of all children in our care.

• We offer a wide range of activities, both indoors and out and adapt these according to the child’s abilities. We support communication and language through books, adult led activities, questions and shared experiences. Physical play is supported through indoor and outdoor play, risk taking and writing/mark making. PSED is strongly encouraged through self care support, sharing feelings at circle time and in nurture groups as well as role play activities.
• We look at each child’s individual needs, if a child has additional needs that would take up more of our time we would look into what support we can get to meet their needs.
• We have where necessary advised parents to seek advice from the local children’s centre regarding speech therapy, dietary needs, toilet training.
We are a small village pre-school offering a friendly, welcoming environment to children and their families. We have a small, experienced staff team, all qualified to Level 3 and all mums with their own experience. We have a maximum of 20 children per session in the summer term with appropriate adult ratios.
We offer high quality care and play-based learning to support children’s individual development in their early years. We have an experienced SENDCO who works closely with children and their families as well as with the staff team to ensure on-going support for children’s individual needs during their time with us.
Our activities include outdoor play, trips to the park, cooking, adult-led activities, physical play, creative and much more. We include seasonal and festive activities among this. Everything we do relates to the EYFS framework, covering all seven learning areas. We plan activities on a weekly basis to reflect our children’s individual needs and interests. Each child has a keyperson to ensure their needs are met.
We have good links with TurveyLower School and other local schools to support children’s transition and we work especially closely with them for SEND children.
