What our service does
Provides support and information for families and carers of people with Down's Syndrome and heart issues, specifically related to the heart but touching on other areas as affected by the medical problems.
Location of our service
Although our national office is based in Beds we are a small national charity and cover all the UK.
Who our service provides for
All ages, from pre-natal diagnosis, birth, diagnosis of heart conditions, heart surgery, those not needing or not being suitable for surgery and bereaved families.

How decisions are made about who can use our service
The service is available to anyone who cares for an individual who has Down's Syndrome and heart problems.
How we communicate with our service users
We use social media, email, our website and newsletter for input as well as general consensus from phone calls etc. We do not have access to translation services but will always do whatever we can to find other services that can offer this and provide our information in an accessible format for users as required.
Accessibility of our service
Not applicable as we do not have our own facilities but provide events in accessible locations or provide home visits etc.
Qualifications and training of our staff
All our staff and trustees have personal experience of a family member with Down's Syndrome or of working with people with learning difficulties.
