What our service does

We are a day nursery, which is part of a franchise.

Banana Moon Day Nursery is committed to the inclusion of all children. We believe all children have the right to be cared for and educated to develop to their full potential. We have a Special Educational Needs and Disability policy in place to support this.

We are situated in Kempston, Beds.

Who our service provides for

We care for children aged 0-5 years. We have a Special Educational Needs and Disability policy in place.

How to start using our service

Contact is made via the nursery. We do have a fee structure in place. We offer settling in sessions free of charge. Currently we do not have a waiting list.

How decisions are made about who can use our service

Management team make the decisions with the support of the directors.

How we communicate with our service users

We communicate in several ways. Either face to face, written letter or via e-mail. We also use social media.

We have English as an Additional language policy in place.

Regular feedback is given to parents/carers on their child, along with regular parent consultations.

Accessibility of our service

We are situated on the main road through Kempston, which is easily accessed via public transport. We have our own car park and wheelchair access is via our back door which also has a ramp. We also have disabled toilet facilities.

We have in place a Special Educational Needs and Disability policy in place.

Qualifications and training of our staff

SENCo training done by manager. Looking to book more staff onto it asap.
Manager trained in Safeguarding.
