How to start using our service

We are pleased to accept direct referrals as well as referrals from the Local Authorities and Health services. We welcome referrals from people with their own personal budgets.

How decisions are made about who can use our service

One of our team leaders will make arrangements with you to visit and to talk to you about what you would like support with and how you would like this to be provided. They will assess your needs and discuss with you what we would be able to provide and how we could do this. If we are unable to offer support we will discuss with you the reasons why, what we could offer or where you could find another organisation who could meet your specific needs. At the end of this process you then tell us if you would like us to provide the service or advise you of other services who may be able to meet your requirements.

How we communicate with our service users

We will hold reviews with you and other people you choose to invite to find out how things are going and any changes that could be made to improve the support you receive. We will always with your consent share information with parents or others you choose to be kept informed.

Accessibility of our service

Our offices are fully wheelchair accessible and there is parking outside including a space reserved for people with a disability.
